I have been on 1 mg Xanax at 3 times a day for a long time,and I told my doc their still making me so sleepy at work....so he changes me to Lorazepam 1 mg at twice a day....Now I feel wierd....can someone please help me understand the difference in these 2 meds,and how can I stop feeling so bad now since he changed me.He says they are also a benzo,but I feel sickish...please help me.
Disregard any other posts...I cant find them on here,but I HAVE tried posting for some help.....but if they DO go through...I am the same person begging for some sort of understanding.

You're going through benzo w/d. He took xanax which works very quickly to a slower acting lorazepam and lessened the frequency. You're in detox now.
