Default Can I take Percocet with scoliosis?

If you read who should not take percocet, the list includes those with curvature of the spine. Ironically, it is because of my back pain that I was given the Rx. Does anyone know why this condition is listed? I have adult progressive scoliosis, and wonder if taking this periodically (usually not more than 1-2 times a month) will make my back any worse. Thank you!!

I have scoliosis, and was on percocet for almost 2 yrs. There was no problems with them, no side effects other than the normal ones any pain killer causes.
I have cronic pain because I also have other conditions, so was switched to a Fentanyl Patch for daily pain.
Good luck to you.
