I'm on Norvasc and am getting leg cramps. I know that this is a side effect. I just want to know how much calcium get blocked. Should I take a calcium supplement. Will it just be blocked from the Norvasc??
Is this safe to use, because I don't receive much calcium in the first place.

Hi I can't find out how much calcium is actually absorbed. The book said absolutly no calcium. They also reccomend a low fat diet, low cholesteral,and low calcium diet.

The actions of this drug are unrelated to how much calcium is in your diet. You should however, make sure there is enough calcium in your diet to maintain healthy bones.
