Default Been sober since April 16th but testing positive on UA's

I am currently in a Drug Court program, and I have been testing positive for cocaine despite the fact that I have been completely sober since April 16th. I have, however, been having intimate relations with someone who uses cocaine daily. My question is, how is it likely to be transferred from my partner to myself? We've been really careful after the first time it happened- I make her wash her hands after touching it, do it away from me, etc. Could it be from kissing (saliva)? From intercourse? Could it just be through her sweat? All of the above? I could really use some honest advice from someone who actually has some education or done some research on this. I love this girl dearly and would be devastated if we had to stop seeing each other, but I can't keep going to jail every weekend because I'm testing positive. Thanks in advance.

Interesting situation and question. I would be extremely surprised if cocaine can get into your bloodstream through physical contact.
I could understand if alcohol could be passed that way, because alcohol is consumed in such great quantities. But cocaine? I dont see how intimacy can transmit cocaine to someone in any noticable quantity.
Maybe your partner is slipping cocaine into your coffee in the morning.

Default Your nightmare is MINE right now!

I just took a drug test today and I tested positive for cocaine... I have NOT TOUCHED the stuff, yet someone I was with within the past few days IS and WAS using it... he would never spike my drink or do anything as such knowing I am getting tested constantly, yet, we had physical contact and that is the ONLY way I could have gotten any in my system.. I'm in a nightmare right now trying to figure out how to approach this proactively so that these people know I do not and have not used.. I am ALSO at risk of getting extra jail time along with starting the drug treatment program back at square ONE.. (I am in the program for having 3 dwis)

Had this not happened to me, I have to admit I would be skeptical. I think I know how mine came up positive, as I made some bad choices & went to a party at an old "friend's" house...Just wondering how this turned out for you, if you ever got to the bottom of it?

I went to my suboxone dr. and tested positive for crystal meth. Something I haven't used in 20 some odd years, and even then it was just a one time thing. Never cared for it. Anyway when I told him that, he said "well you get your drugs illegally right". I told him that was correct and then he said "well somewhere along the way whoever's selling you those pills is using meth and a little bit is coming in contact with the pills". So the next time I saw him I brought it up again and he said not to worry about it that these tests are quick and cheap and that it would cost a whole lot more to send it off and do a real test.
So my question to you guys is, are these cheap 10 min result drug tests or are they being sent to a lab to be thoroughly examined? If I'm going to jail over these things I would request some kind of lab tests instead of these cheap, quick ones. My heart goes out to ya'll, I couldn't imagine doing jail time over something I never did.

Yeah, he was a pretty cool old dr. Didn't judge me or look down on me at all. He seemed to actually want to help people. He also told that basically that allergy meds could bring up the pos. results for the meth. as well and that it was really no big deal. That's not what he was treating me for anyway. They just want to make sure there's no more opiates in your system when you come back.
