Hi,

Does anybody know about drugs such as Lithium or Abilify that do not have weight gain as a side effect? Or, ideally, could have weight loss? This is regarding someone for whom weight gain is a big factor in her current depression.

This person gained a bunch of weight from Depacote without being aware of its side effects, and relief is not worth it if weight gain is the cost.

99% of anti-psychotic drugs have have weight gain as a side effect. Your most likely out of luck. Ask your doctor to try another drug.
