I have the Nitro tabs and use them whenever I feel a attack coming on, I also have the nitro patches also and them are worn the whole day when the heart pains are more frequent and it opens the main arteries to allow for better blood flow. If a person would take this Nitro and smoke it or take to many of them then that person would have a very good chance of rupturing one of the arteries and or have the heart work way overtime to move the amount of blood that would be traveling through the heart due to the arteries being opened so much. The drug don't go to the brain, it goes directly to the heart to help with blood flow in case there may be some small blood clots traveling through. If a high is wanted, nitro is not the drug to use at all, any drug taken to get high has many side effects that can turn and kill you but Nitro is used for one thing and that's to help move the blood by opening the arteries. My advice to you or anyone who seen such a thing done on TV is you're watching way to much TV and it's starting to make you think that what you see on TV is not only right but is even real. Believe me, why would you want to risk your life to find out if their telling the truth on this 70's show that played on TV. If you want something to get you feeling good have a beer, a few beers won't find you dead by morning, well that is if you don't drive on top of the beer. I hope you really make the right choose and look at the downsides to it.
