Ambien side effects question

I have read all of the side effects of ambien from several documents and other places, but I wanted to know if anyone has heard of anyone acquiring sudden deafness as a side effect by long term usage of this drug. Lastly, is there other drugs that will cause sudden deafness? Thanks!
