[Inane]

My doctor recently switched me from Oxycontin to Morphine. The Morphine does indeed eliminate my pain just as well as the Oxy, but compared to both Hydro or Oxy I don't like the feeling it gives me at all. I've always heard Morphine is even more addictive, but I don't find it to be even slightly addictive. It's a tough sensation to put in words... it doesn't cause any sort of pain, it just makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Should I just ask him to put me back on the Oxy? It is nice to be on something that I don't feel addicted to at all, but if it makes me feel like ******** in the process it's kind of pointless I think. Even though I do find the Oxy a little addictive, I've always been able to control myself.

If you don't react well to any medication you should tell the prescribing physician immediately. It may take a while, he may choose another option. Good luck and God bless.
