Default allergie meds.

I have allergies pretty much year round. I take over the counter meds alot, but when I start getting worse I now take Kronofed-A. My Dr. suggested Zyrtec if this wasn't working for me. I just would like to find out what others take that work for them. I plan to go to an allergist this summer. There will be a new Dr. in town that is suppose to be a very good allergy Dr., till then what would others suggest. Help---I tend to be in bed sick more more than not. Thanks for any suggestions or help anyone can give. kt1227
