Default Alesse - Curiousity about effects

Hello.

I'm an 18 girl.. this summer I started taking alesse because I knew I was going to be seeing my boyfriend, and knew we'd be having sex.

I started a month before he came to see me... and I continued to take them through the month we were together, and a month after we were seperated from each other.

My problem is this, after I stopped taking them, just about three monthes ago, I've become very aggressive, have had major mood swings, and have gotten quite depressed. Until now, I haven't even thought of the possibility of hormonal changes, or problems.

Is it possible that the change from taking the BC, to being pill free has caused these problems? I'm aware that side effects while taking the drug can be depression, and the things I've been experiencing.. but I've never heard of those side effects occuring AFTER the cessation of use.

Any ideas, or knowledge about this would be extremely helpful.
