hi all...quick question...i used to abuse alcohol but stopped on a dime. never looked back. in the painkillers that i desperately need, there are often a lot of tylenol in them. which is worse. too much alcohol or too much atcetaminophen as far as my liver???

Good question, they will both take out your liver, but there's two factors involved time and quantity. I don't know if too much alcohol in one sitting would damage the liver but too much Tylenol sure would. I think over a shorter amount of time too much acetaminophen will damage the liver faster. They claim the maximum safe daily dose of acetaminophen to be 4000mg.
