Default Alcohal and Prozac

I've been considering going on Prozac for a while, but I've been wondering if it interacts with alcohal at all. I have never been a heavy drinker, but I am a young person and I like to occasionally have a few drinks with my friends.

i just started taking it and my doctor said that it amplifies the effects of alcohol and if you drink a lot on it it can make you really sick. He said it makes one drink feel like two, so my guess is that a couple drinks would be fine. He advised me not to drink at all on it but i was a very heavy drinker so i think this was advice to me personally.

I think most anti-depressants have similar interactions with alcohol, not just prozac, so you may have difficulty finding one that has no effect on drinking.
