Has anyone experienced hair loss while taking Advil long-term? My mom (she's 70) takes at least one Advil every day (she also suffers from CFS & has a back problem). Now, after many years of enjoying wonderful thick hair, almost 1/2 of it has fallen out over the past year. Note that about 1 year ago (3/2006), she had 3 cortisone shots in her back within about 6 weeks - she thinks that may have caused the hair loss problem but it's a year later and it's still happening. She's on some BP meds but her DR. said that's not it. Any help? Can it be the longterm use of the Advil?
