Default aderall addiction help

I started taking aderall about 5 to 6 months ago and got extremely addicted. For three months minimum I was abusing it everyday, taking it twice as much as what I was prescibed. If I ever felt like I was coming off, I would take more to keep me going. I cut off aderall about two months ago and have had extreme anxiety, depression, paranoia, etc. Could these effects be due to the abuse of the drug? What should I do? I cannot function normally.

Hey,
I am sorry I don't have any advice for you, but I wanted to let you know that I am in the same boat. I don't understand how a doctor could have perscribed my a drug in the same family as cocaine. I started Adderall in September. Now I am perscribed 30mgs twice a day. That was fine for a while, but what are you supposed to do when you get used to that dosage. My doctor said she doesn't prescribe a higher dose. So now, for the last ten days of every month I have withdrawls. I end up sleeping the entire day and night. AAAHHHHH.If you get any good advice will you email me please? arr2892@uncw.edu
