My son is taking the 30mg capsule. He chewed a dose the other day because it was mixed in oatmeal. He wont swallow the capsule by itself. He was up all night long. Can anyone tell me if it was from chewing the capsule??

Chewing the capsils is not a good thing because it can break the time release but its not what kept him up all night. I am on 20mg Adderal Xr and I cannot sleep at night bc adderal is an amphetamine which means its like legal speed. Maybe you should switch him to a non XR pill I am going to my doctor to switch over so I dont have to take sleeping pills to fall asleep.
