hey i am 17 yrs old and i have been on add/adhd medication for about a year now. i first was presribed to concerta at 35 mg, then changed to 54 mg, then that still wasnt providing the effects it needed to and they had me taking a 54 mg and an 18 mg together (which i thought was ridiculus). i would never be hungry so every afternoon right at about the time school let out i would get these severe headaches that tylenol couldnt even fix. it made me feel like a zombie and some what burned out. finally thank god they took me off concerta and now im on adderall xr (30 mg) and it works so much better but every now and then i still get headaches. it decreases my appetite so much that i maybe eat one meal a day (and i usually force my self to do that). the headaches arent as bad or as frequent on adderall as they were on concerta. i dont recommend changing to concerta, things will probably just get worse. i hope i helped you out.

Yes, when I feel it coming down and I have not eaten or slept in 2 days but when I take another one and it kicks in I feel fine. This adderall makes me stay up for days sometimes and it is always hard for me to eat. Oh well. Anyways, I think a headache is a side effect to adderall. I take 45 mg a day. 30 in morning 15 in afternoon.
Take Care,
RObin
