I currently am taking adderall. I am 21 years old. I have been taking it since I was 15 years old. I just recently started reading the little mini "pamphlet" that comes glued to the bottle. And it referrences the side effects that i was never told when i get prescribed for it years ago. I have been searching for more info and have found a little but my main question that i cannot find the answer for is if the side effects are permenant/long term. For example impotence and libio change. Being that I started taking it when I was 15. I became sexual active at 19. So all i know as far as my libido is what it is like with the medicene, i see no problems now but am scared that possible problems will be created/ or have been created/ or will be permanent and can't be reversed. If anyone can shed some light that would be great. I really can't afford to go to the doctor to ask questions. (i have health insurance but can't afford the $65 co-pay) Thank you.

Actually, I believe this is more of a pharmacist question than a doctor question. Luckily, these type of questions are still free. With all the drugs out there, a doctor doesn't have time to read up on all of them or all their effects along with everything else that they need to know about new medical proceedures and new findings , etc. However, as a pharmacist is a specialist in dealing with drugs (in the old days they actually ground, mixed ,measured and made the pills from scratch) I'm pretty sure that they should know.
