[xx(][xx(]Adderall is an amphetamine, similar to crystal meth. It is a dangerous and addictive. It helps children be more interested in their school work. They say it is not addictive for children, but that is untrue, I have seen kids go through horrible withdrawals at the end of the day screaming and crying because they are "coming down." To sell the drug, advertisers say it is not addictive if you really have ADD or ADHD, and it does not affect someone with adhd like it would someone with out the disorder. That is bull****, it is speed no matter who you are, with or without ADD. It will help anyone concentrate better because it is a stimulant. Imagine that. In the long run it makes your attention span worse, and has damaging effects on the brain. It also stunts growth and causes anorexia. IT IS ONE OF THE WORST DRUGS ON THE MARKET BEWARE OF ADVERTIZERS, THEY ARE LIARS. All the kids I knew when I was younger that took Adderall or Ritalin are all crazy now. Please beware, speed will steel your soul.[xx(]

can this drug really do that much damage to your brain if you use it as a speed? I thought all side effects of this drug were temporary.

He's stretching the truth a bit. I take Aderall regularly, and it's never done anything like that to me.

The side effects of this drug is NOT temporary. The long term side effects include sexual impotence. They wanted to put my step son on it, and we refused (but the mother put him on it anyway). I would do a search online. As far as I remember, Adderral had to many long term side effects to be used.
