Default ADDERALL

I have recently found out that my boyfriend has been snorting Adderall secretly. Lately he has been taking up to 50 mg a day for the past week, and now wants to stop. Has anyone ever stopped taking this drug suddenly? I am pretty sure there are emotional, if not physical dependencies that he will be withdrawing from. He is a previous cocaine user (10+ years ago), which his prescribing doctor didn't apparently take into consideration when giving him this drug.

Any input would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

The addictive qualities of this drug are greatly amplified when it is snorted. The withdrawl from this type of abuse should be handled the same way as any dependency, treatment, help, therapy, and support. But most importantly by a professional organization for a more successful transition. Good luck!

I have been on Adderall for several years and recently came off of it. I was around 100 mg a day, but I did not snort it. I didn't really get the "high" feeling that some people do. I have been off it about 12 days and have had zero side effects. My best advice would be to stop putting it up his nose and taper down if he is experiencing negative side effects. I havd ADHD and never really took it as a means of getting high, it just kept me focused at work, but I used it as prescribed and intended. I cAn't say the same of other scripts, but I havr ALOT of Adderall experience. Hope this helps, feel free to drop me a line on Opees New Thread for Success, God bless!
