Default accupril

I have been on Accupril for 5 months. About 8 weeks ago I started with a very dry cough (lite clear flem after the coughing spell) I never had allergies but thought maybe I started with them. However, I have since learned it probably is the Accupril. I really hate to change because I have had such good luck with it. No dizziness or nothing and it did bring my BP a great bit.
Has any one else had this cough? I guess I will ask my doctor to change the pills before I crack a rib from coughing! Any other good BP out there?
Thx!

The cough is due to a build up of something in your lungs and throat area (called bradykinin). You can change to a drug that will do the same thing but will not produce that effect, examples are Diovan, Atacand, Cozaar, Avapro, Just bring it up to your doctor, he'll know what to change it to. Good luck!
