Has anyone had the Medtronic stimulator implanted? My doc is giving me shots in nerve roots, does not even consider surgery (I've had 2 back surgeries already, I don't want another either!) Is considering putting me on a trial basis with the implant, not permanent at this time, to see if it works. If so, then have to consider permanent implant.
