Alternative to Seroquel

I have been on Seroquel for three years and keep getting bigger and bigger. It works very well for my BP but the weight gain (50LBS)is not worth it anymore. Any alternatives to this without the weight gain. TAG11

i don't know about that, my doctor just prescribed it to me as a sleeping aid, I have no evidence of being, or have I ever had any bipolar symptoms. I am very confused and cannot afford nor do I want the weight gain - does that always happen? I have a very small frame and already walk with a cane due to whole side numbness due to possible ms.

The weight gain is sometimes better with Lithium, try switching to another mood stabilizer or antipsychotic, different ones cause wieght problems for different people.
