Auntibiotic....the term is TArdive Diskenesia and no that is not what she is experiencing....TD is acquired after taking large omounts of antipsychotic medications...so not to worry.
I, at one point was on 30mg a day, and never experienced any sort of side effects until I actually tried to discontinue use. I have not heard of antidepressant medications used for anything other than depression and anxiety, it is kind of curious that your doc has prescribed it to a 15 year old for TMJ...maybe a second opinion is in order...I know if she were my daughter, I would not tolerate any kind of side effects like that.
