I am 22 and have been taking
Adderall (30rx) for many years (ADHD). I've been prescribed
Zoloft for anxiety. I'm on one of those sample packs. For the first seven days I'm supposed to take 25mg and then increase to 50mg. Today is my forth day. I'm about 5'4 and weigh around 110lbs. I have experienced loss of appetite, increased heart rate, and have been unable to stay asleep after about 4 hours. This is really strange, b/c I normally eat like a moose. Plus, normally I have problems waking up, not staying asleep. I'm first curious as to whether anyone has been prescribed these two medications together. Secondly, if anyone has experienced these side effects, do they eventually subside? I'm concerned, b/c I'm a hardcore workerouter. I do strength training every other day, and I do cardio 45-75 min. a day (6 days a week). I was weary about Zoloft due to the major side effect of weight gain, but now I'm worried about weight loss and lack of need for sleep.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions for me that would be great!! I see my doc. again in 2 days.
