I went to see my pdoc a couple of months ago and we decided to up my
Wellbutrin from 150mgs to 300mgs...but my doctor prescribed me 150mgs twice a day because the 150mgs do not come in generic yet. He said he wanted to do this because he didn't like the way the generic 300 looked either. So, I can't say I've had a personal experience with it but I've never had a doc purposefully prescribe a brand when a generic was available.
