I've tried
Fioricet with
Codeine (which is basically the same thing you're taking) and it made me feel GREAT...talkative, excited, happy, and very open. I also have serious anxiety problems, and opiates are some of the best medicine against it. The caffeine + codeine combination in
Fiorinal/Fioricet is what gives you the kick, and the butalbital is what keeps you relaxed (it's a barbituate, and it depresses your central nervous system). I also know how irritable someone can be whenever they dont take medicine...I used to take
tramadol for migraines, and sometimes after it would wear off I'd be VERY irritable, I'd snap at people, I'd get pissed over the littlest things, I'd be very short with people, and so on. It's just your body getting used to the Fiorinal and when you don't take it, the irritability is your body's way of telling you "Feed me Fiorinal!". Unfortunalely Fioricet/Fiorinal w/Codeine can be addictive, bc of the Codeine, and its classified as a Schedule III drug, the same class as Vicodin and
Tylenol 3.
