Hi, all- I was taking generic
adderall (mixed
amphetamine salts), produced by Barr laboratories. Then my discount pharmacy switched to a generic made by Ranbaxy labs. Two things: first, the Ranbaxy adderall feels different somehow. Not as "in control" as the Barr meds made me feel. Second, the Barr labs adderall had a sweet taste to them, almost like there was sugar in them. I can only guess that that is the Amphetamine saccarate part. The Ranbaxy pills have NO sweet taste. Does anyone have an explanation, or similar experience? Thanks in advance!!
One more thing: the Barr labs pills were a dark blue. The Ranbaxy pills are a light, almost violet color.
