Just wanted to let you know it was nice to see that not everyone had only negative things to say about using
Lexapro. I have been on it for 3 months; my doctor prescribed itfor me becuase of GAD ( Generalized Anxiety Disorder). 10mg once a day. I did have a few side effects, even the low or no sex drive; dry mouth and not being able to sleep, but after about 4 weeks, everything went back to pretty much normal. The positve effects definitely outway the negative. I have always had this anxiety problem I think, I just began to get worse with age. My husband says I am a joy to be around now. Every little thing worried me, or upset me to the point of tears. Now I take each day as it comes, and my worries are minimal. I had never been on an anti-depressent before, so I don't really know how well the others work. Lexapro has changed my life.
