Thanks for the suggestion Aunty! Omega 3 fish oil huh? Who knew
Emotionally, I've been a little off this past week, but I think most of it is circumstantial stuff. From what the doctor told me on my first diagnosis there are two kinds of emotional stress affecting me-circumstantial (things that are only temporary annoyances) and chronic stress (ongoing social/mental stressors like poor self-esteem). After evaluating life at this exact moment-95% of my moodiness could be attributed to minor annoyances. I feel like I can put these little things in perspective and move on instead of dwelling on them and getting myself down.

The big challenge lately is trying not to stress-eat when things bother me. It turns into this ugly cycle: I get depressed, eat ice-cream (or insert any other horribly fattening food here), then I get more depressed because I feel fat so I eat more.... ICK! Emotional eating is a definite pitfall.

How goes the Lexapro ride for you these days Aunty?
