Interactions between zalcitabine and 3tc (lamivudine)

zalcitabine and lamivudine (Moderate Drug-Drug)

GENERALLY AVOID: Lamivudine and zalcitabine may inhibit the intracellular phosphorylation of one another to their respective active derivative. Theoretically, this interaction could result in diminished antiretroviral effects of the drugs.

MANAGEMENT: The concomitant use of lamivudine and zalcitabine is not recommended.
