velcade and Busodium Interactions

Interactions between velcade(bortezomib) and Busodium (butabarbital)

butabarbital and bortezomib (Moderate Drug-Drug)

MONITOR: Coadministration with inducers of CYP450 3A4 may decrease the plasma concentrations of bortezomib, which is partially metabolized by the isoenzyme.

MANAGEMENT: Pharmacologic response to bortezomib should be monitored more closely whenever a CYP450 3A4 inducer is added to or withdrawn from therapy.
