valtrex and Zidovudine Interactions

Interactions between valtrex(valacyclovir) and Zidovudine (zidovudine)

zidovudine and valacyclovir (Minor Drug-Drug)

Excessive lethargy has been reported in patients receiving concomitant acyclovir and zidovudine. This interaction has not been reported with valacyclovir, but may apply to that drug as well. The mechanism of the interaction is unknown. Dosage reductions may be necessary.
