Minor Drug-Drug Interaction secobarbital and valerian (Minor Drug-Drug)

Concomitant use of valerian with barbiturates may lead to excessive sedation. The mechanism of this interaction has not been specified. Effects may be highly variable due differences in potency of commercial valerian preparations. Concomitant use is not recommended.
