Interactions between thyroid(thyroid desiccated) and Alli (orlistat)

thyroid desiccated and orlistat (Moderate Drug-Drug)

MONITOR: Orlistat may interfere with the absorption of levothyroxine and other thyroid hormones. The exact mechanism of interaction has not been described.

MANAGEMENT: Close clinical and laboratory monitoring of thyroid function is recommended if thyroid replacement therapy is coadministered with orlistat.
