Interactions between sulfacetamide-sodium-ophthalmic(sulfacetamide sodium ophthalmic) and Silver nitrate ophthalmic (silver nitrate ophthalmic)

sulfacetamide sodium ophthalmic and silver nitrate ophthalmic (Moderate Drug-Drug)

GENERALLY AVOID: Sulfacetamide preparations are incompatible with silver preparations. Sulfacetamide will precipitate as its silver salt in the presence of silver nitrate.

MANAGEMENT: Concurrent use of sulfacetamide preparations with silver preparations should be avoided.
