Interactions between salicylic-acid(salicylic acid topical) and Tazorac (tazarotene topical)

salicylic acid topical and tazarotene topical (Moderate Drug-Drug)

GENERALLY AVOID: Concomitant use of retinoids and keratolytic or astringent topicals may result in excessive irritation and/or drying.

MANAGEMENT: The manufacturer suggests a rest period before beginning retinoid therapy until the effects of keratolytics or astringents have subsided.
