Interactions between questran-light(cholestyramine) and Aquacot (trichlormethiazide)

Moderate Drug-Drug Interaction cholestyramine and trichlormethiazide (Moderate Drug-Drug)

ADJUST DOSING INTERVAL: Cholestyramine may decrease the absorption of thiazide diuretics.

MANAGEMENT: Thiazide diuretics should be administered at least four to six hours after cholestyramine. Patients should be monitored for altered thiazide efficacy and the thiazide dosage increased, if necessary.
