Interactions between pyrimethamine and Chooz (calcium carbonate)

pyrimethamine and calcium carbonate (Moderate Drug-Drug)

ADJUST DOSING INTERVAL: The concomitant administration of antacids or absorbent antidiarrheals may significantly reduce the bioavailability of pyrimethamine by reducing its absorption. Therapeutic failure may result.

MANAGEMENT: Antacids and antidiarrheals should be taken at least 2 to 3 hours apart from pyrimethamine.
