Applies to: Prozac (fluoxetine) and Taxotere (docetaxel)
MONITOR: In vitro data suggest that fluoxetine may inhibit the CYP450 3A4 hepatic metabolism of docetaxel. Reports on the concomitant use of these agents in the clinical setting is lacking.
MANAGEMENT: Close monitoring for altered efficacy and safety (e.g., bone marrow suppression) is recommended during concomitant therapy.
