procainamide and bepridil (Major Drug-Drug)

CONTRAINDICATED: Possible QT interval prolongation associated with class 1a antiarrhythmic drugs and with bepridil may be additive. The combination of class 1a antiarrhythmic drugs and bepridil may result in serious arrhythmias, including ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, and torsades de pointes.

MANAGEMENT: This combination is considered contraindicated by the manufacturer.
