MANAGEMENT: Serum potassium levels should be checked regularly during concomitant therapy with drospirenone and agents that can increase serum potassium. Patients should be advised to report to their physician any possible symptoms of hyperkalemia such as weakness, listlessness, confusion, tingling of the extremities, or feelings of heaviness in the legs.
