Interactions between mucomyst(acetylcysteine) and Ifex (ifosfamide)

ifosfamide and acetylcysteine (Minor Drug-Drug)

When n-acetylcysteine is administered with ifosfamide, it does not interfere with the antineoplastic effects of ifosfamide. However, n-acetylcysteine does appear to interact with some metabolites of ifosfamide and to reduce toxicity to the kidney, ureters, bladder, and urethra.
