Applies to: Methergine (methylergonovine) and Prepidil (dinoprostone topical)
CONTRAINDICATED: The use of other oxytocic agents with dinoprostone may stimulate uterine hypertonus, which can lead to uterine rupture or cervical laceration, particularly in the presence of an undilated or poorly dilated cervix.
MANAGEMENT: The concomitant use of dinoprostone with other oxytocic agents is considered contraindicated.
