MONITOR: Although therapy with thrombolytics and salicylates or antiplatelet agents often overlaps in clinical practice, the potential for additive anticoagulant effects and increased risk of severe bleeding should be considered.

MANAGEMENT: Careful monitoring for signs of bleeding, particularly at arterial puncture wounds, is recommended during coadministration.
