Interactions between ionil-plus(salicylic acid topical) and Panretin (alitretinoin topical)

salicylic acid topical and alitretinoin topical (Moderate Drug-Drug)

GENERALLY AVOID: Concomitant use of retinoids and keratolytic or astringent topicals may result in excessive irritation and/or drying.

MANAGEMENT: The manufacturer suggests a rest period before beginning retinoid therapy until the effects of keratolytics or astringents have subsided.
