Furosemide may reduce the effects of glyBURIDE in lowering your blood sugar. Talk with your doctor before using these medications together. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring of your blood sugar if you have been using glyBURIDE and are starting treatment with furosemide. Likewise, if your glyBURIDE dose has been adjusted during treatment with furosemide, the dose may need to be readjusted after you discontinue furosemide. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
