Major Drug-Drug Interaction aminocaproic acid and factor IX complex (Major Drug-Drug)

GENERALLY AVOID: Due to additive or synergistic pharmacodynamic effects, the risk of thrombosis may be increased when antifibrinolytic agents such as aminocaproic acid or tranexamic acid is coadministered with anti-inhibitor coagulant complex or factor IX complex.

MANAGEMENT: Antifibrinolytic agents such as aminocaproic acid or tranexamic acid should not be administered in combination with anti-inhibitor coagulant complex or factor IX complex.
