Interactions between aluminum-hydroxide(aluminum hydroxide) and Allegra odt (fexofenadine)

Moderate Drug-Drug Interaction aluminum hydroxide and fexofenadine (Moderate Drug-Drug)

ADJUST DOSING INTERVAL: The concomitant administration of aluminum or magnesium-containing antacids with fexofenadine reduces its peak serum concentrations (Cmax) by 43% and area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) by 41%. The clinical significance is unknown.

MANAGEMENT: Fexofenadine should be administered at least 2 hours before antacids.
