Mazindol may interfere with imaging studies done with iobenguane I-123. Let your doctor know you are receiving or have recently received mazindol if you are scheduled for an imaging procedure to detect pheochromocytoma or neuroblastoma (tumors in the nervous system). You may need to stop using mazindol for a certain amount of time before having the procedure. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs.
