OBEGYN Prenatal Supplement is a daily multivitamin & multimineral supplement in powder form to be reconstituted with water, producing a good tasting orange flavored drink.

Indications and Usage

OBEGYN Prenatal Supplement is a multi-vitamin & mineral supplement for use before, during and/or after pregnancy for the lactating or non-lactating mother.

WARNING

Accidental overdoses of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose call a doctor or poison control center immediately.

Precautions

Folic acid may mask the symptoms of pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission may occur while neurologic manifestations remain progressive. The calcium content should be considered before prescribing for patients with kidney stones. Phenylketonurics: contains phenylalanine 84 mg per 8.25 g.

Adverse Reactions

Allergic sensitization has been reported following oral administration of folic acid.

Dosage and Administration

Reconstitute in 4-5 oz. tap water, one level scoop (8.25 g) or four level teaspoons daily. Divided doses of one level teaspoon (2.06 g) four times daily can also be used. Can be chilled with ice to enhance taste. Drink entire mixture immediately after preparation. Use only as directed.

How Supplied

OBEGYN is available as a slightly orange-colored powder in bottles containing 495 g (60 doses). NDC 256-0200-01.

Store at room temperature. Keep container tightly closed and protected from heat and moisture at all times. Do not shake this container.
